Psychologists planing to participate in the PSLF program are working in local communities meeting the mental and behavioral health needs of vulnerable populations in our schools, community health centers and VA medical centers. These health service psychologists accumulate, on average, student debt loads between $90,000 and $138,500. Many psychologists might not have continued their educations or been able to commit to meaningful, mission-driven work without the PSLF program.
Now is the time to let Congress know that programs like PSLF are important to graduate students with financial need, and to the well-being of our nation. Please send a message today to Congress urging them to protect this important program!
